Of the millions of people worldwide who unite and wear jeans with a purpose, we each have our own individual story of why we choose to take a stand in support of survivors and against destructive attitudes surrounding sexual assault. We wear denim for ourselves, in honor of someone we love, for future generations, and for our communities. We all share the same goal: to end sexual violence and to disrupt rape culture. Every story and every intention has been a part of building this 20 years strong Denim Day movement.
