"Good health is fostered by nutritious meals, regular exercise, and a healthy lifestyle. Healthy habits help one live a robust and vibrant life. When you complement these activities with prayer, you too, will be uplifted to an experience of wholeness in mind, body, and spirit."   Getting kids to eat vegetables is up there with getting them to keep their room tidy, go to bed on time and accept the word "no" in the store. Well, getting a child to eat vegetables doesn't have to be a struggle, battle of wills or stressful - I'm going to share with you, a few tools that take stress out of the picture, and replace resistance with enthusiasm. No more threats, bribing or trying to con them into eating vegetables, the tips here are aimed at getting your kids to eat vegetables voluntarily! The Unconscious Bias Towards Dark Skin People

Gabrielle Union and Kelly Rowland tend to illustrate darker complexioned women in mainstream magazines and black based magazines may feature a darker skinned model or two, but representation is seriously lacking. "Phenotypic features associated with the social categorization of racial groups have been strongly linked to stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination. Notably, individuals perceived to possess higher levels of Afrocentric features (e.g., dark skin, full lips, wide nose, coarse hair) have been subject to increased negative stereotyping (e.g., alleging heightened levels of aggression; see Blair, Chapleau, & Judd, 2005), leading to real-world repercussions, such as receiving longer prison sentences for crimes equated for severity and priors (Blair, Judd, & Chapleau, 2004; Viglione, Hannon, & DeFina, 2011)."  read more
