In this generation, people are so obsessed with how others perceive them because of the unrealistic pressures from television, social media, and magazines. We are judged constantly by the way we look and act. Comparing yourself to all of these supposed societal “norms” will not bring you anything except insecurity and misery. A big step toward happiness is to be your own person. Turn on your television, so you can completely understand how important it is to develop a new perspective on being your own person. One main concept everyone should fully comprehend when finding themselves is self-love. There are so many people that think they need to rely on others in order to be happy. Although finding love and friendships can make you feel satisfied for the time being, many of these relationships will unfortunately fail because you never reached that sense of happiness for yourself. Our fight for children's health continues as we push for the passage to extend CHIP by Senator Feinstein -- a bill that would fully reinstate the protections that were repealed by Trump.  The bill just passed out of the Senate Committee, despite Big lobbying to weaken or kill it. We have momentum on our side, but with  lobbyists doing everything they can to stop the bill, we can't take anything for granted. You can get involved by buying a shirt today!
