Beauty Within Teen Esteem wants businesses to participate in ‘Giving Tuesday’
Most people have heard of Black Friday, Shop-local Saturday and Cyber Monday, but how about Giving Tuesday? It's a day to be generous at a time when many people get caught up in the hype of holiday shopping.
A non-profit in Los Angeles County is working to get businesses involved in the day. Whether it's donating one of their products or a portion of their proceeds, beauty within teen esteem organization is asking local businesses to focus on giving this holiday season.

"I think that people love to give when they're asked, but they need to be asked," said Eric Devezin, director of beauty within teen esteem org. "This is a very simple way to say, ‘Take time as you begin to plan for the holidays to reach out and help someone else.'"
Businesses that get involved will be promoted on the beauty within teen esteem Facebook page. The deadline to apply is Nov. 30.
